Transforming Efficiency in the World of Sewer Rehabilitation
RSM Lining Supplies are incredibly excited to introduce their latest Hybrid Curing System to the CIPP market, setting a new standard in curing technology.
This all-in-one solution seamlessly integrates both steam and hot water generation into a single compact unit, eliminating the requirement for multiple curing systems. Designed to maximise efficiency on site, the system allows contractors to switch between curing methods based on specific project requirements, enhancing operational flexibility.
The Hybrid Curing System is engineered to deliver exceptional performance. Capable of curing liners in diameters up to 1200mm, it supports both hot water and steam curing methods, significantly accelerating cure times compared to ambient cure. The system is compatible with a variety of resins, providing exceptional versatility. A powerful and adaptable solution, it is also suitable for pressure pipe liner applications up to 4 bar. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls, automated handling of heat-up, holding, and cool-down phases, and seamless data export via USB or Wi-Fi, it offers an advanced, user-friendly experience.
Since its market launch just six months ago, RSM has already distributed units to industry-leading contractors Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering and specialist engineering services provider, Ipsum. This early success underscores the system’s value and rapid adoption within the market.
Phil Steele, RSM’s Sales Director, emphasised the system’s growing impact: “We are thrilled to introduce a fantastic new system that integrates steam and hot water generation within a single, compact unit. This breakthrough product enhances operational efficiency whilst reducing space and set-up requirements. The benefits of the system are already being recognised by contractors in the market”.
RSM supplied Danaher & Walsh with a fully equipped lining truck, incorporating the Hybrid Curing Unit with a Sluice 300 to ensure seamless liner inversion and curing. Jamie Cleaver, Trenchless Area Manager at Danaher & Walsh, highlighted its benefits: “The Hybrid Boiler System is a fantastic addition to our fleet. Following expert training, we can confidently say this is a top-of-the-range system. With our primary focus on Sewer Infiltration Reduction Schemes, the ability to switch between curing methods based on site conditions provides invaluable flexibility. RSM has delivered a professional vehicle fit-out, transforming our 7.5-tonne lining truck into a fully integrated, single-truck operation.”
Meanwhile, Ipsum has taken delivery of two trailer fit outs featuring the Hybrid Curing Systems. These custom-built trailers have been designed to enhance project efficiency and adaptability, further strengthening their CIPP operations. Simon Aylott-Cleaver, Director of Trenchless Technology at Ipsum, remarked: “Integrating the Hybrid Curing Systems into our equipment fleet has significantly enhanced our operational capabilities. Having a fully equipped, self-contained system means our teams can mobilise quickly and work more efficiently, regardless of site conditions. RSM’s expertise in delivering tailored solutions has been invaluable, ensuring we have the right setup to maximise performance and streamline our lining installations.”
With growing demand for adaptable and efficient CIPP solutions, the Hybrid System represents a significant advancement for the industry. By offering a dual curing system in a compact and highly efficient unit, contractors can optimise their operations and experience advanced flexibility on site.
For those looking to enhance their sewer rehabilitation operations, this system offers a hybrid solution designed for flexibility, efficiency, and performance.
