New investment for GeeDee Plant As they have invested in their 2nd BLUELIGHT SYSTEM
GeeDee Plant based in Hartlepool have added to their fleet a the second Bluelight system, now operating both a fully portable system as well as a vehicle built solution enables GeeDee to work both on road and off road in pipe sizes DN70 – DN600 and curing both felt in version liners as well as our glass pull in place products.
GeeDee operate nationwide in both the drainage industry and the industrial services sectors. Operating a fleet of high specification combination suction and jetting trucks, high volume tanker vehicles, grab wagons and Back to Black road sweepers.
GeeDee plant took delivery of their first Bluelight system in January 2021, and have become highly competent Bluelight installers. Having installed the full range of liners, for a number of clients, GeeDee Plant have steadily increased their work loads, primarily within the private sector but more recently working for Water Authorities throughout the UK, this has led them to invest further into the Bluelight equipment, purchasing the vehicle mounted equipment. This new vehicle comes fitted with PTO driven compressor, 8kva generator, full bespoke work benches and storage for all tools and equipment, LED internal lighting, 20m retractable ¾” hose reel, rear loading ramp, and full width lightbar.
Their brand new Bluelight lining equipment is capable of installing liner DN70 – DN600 in lengths of 100m+, this high specification vehicle will increase productivity,
and their capabilities whilst keeping their quality as high as possible by utilising the entire range of Bluelight products.
GeeDee Plant and Bluelight Lining Ltd have worked closely ever since their initial investment into the Bluelight system, the dedication to high quality and high production levels made the decision easy to further invest.
Purchasing a complete system including new inversion equipment, curing equipment as well as the fully equipped lining vehicle demonstrates a fantastic level of commitment to the CIPP market. Carrying out works Nationwide it was a requirement that the lining team is completely self-sufficient, all tools, materials, equipment had to be carried in the vehicle at all times, and the increased capabilities of this vehicle mounted equipment means that the crews could operate completely independently throughout the week completing works in a single visit.
All Bluelight equipment has secure storage and bespoke lashing points specifically designed to remove any risk to the equipment during transport. The high output compressor and generator, allows for virtually any size and length to be installed without the need for additional equipment, carrying two curing baskets allows for every installation to be carried out as efficiently as possible, and multiple installations can be carried out with a reduced Carbon footprint as well as reducing the fatigue on the operators.
