Danaher & Walsh, a leading name in civil engineering in the East Midlands, is proud to announce its outstanding achievement of receiving the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for the fourth consecutive year.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has recognised Danaher & Walsh’s unwavering commitment to maintaining exemplary health and safety standards across its operations.
The RoSPA Gold Award is a testament to Danaher & Walsh’s continuous dedication to prioritising the safety and well-being of its workforce, contractors and the communities it works within. This achievement highlights the company’s consistent efforts to go above and beyond established safety regulations and guidelines, setting a benchmark for excellence in accident prevention.
“We are delighted to receive the RoSPA Gold Award for the fourth year in a row,” said Sue Southam, SHEQ Manager at Danaher & Walsh. “It is very encouraging to receive this recognition and be able to share this with our clients, however we see it as just doing our job. Keeping people safe is the most important thing we do. Having said that, it takes a lot of work, so my thanks go to my Health and Safety colleague, Maria Carpenter and all of our on-site teams for their dedication to safe working practices.”
RoSPA Gold Award winners have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Danaher & Walsh’s consistent achievement of this prestigious accolade underscores its proactive approach to risk management, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in safety practices.
“This is our fourth submission to the RoSPA Awards and our fourth Gold. Our aim is to be Gold Medal winners which require five Gold Awards in a row, so we are on track for that and look forward to sharing that news with you this time next year!” continued Sue Southam.
