Dr Neil Bramhall
Neil has been working in the utilities sector for nearly 20 years, delivering geospatial solutions aimed at reducing damage and improving safety. He has run his own business since 2013, and in 2017 won the Geovation Underground Assets innovation challenge. He is the founder of Utility Survey Exchange which aims to improve the accuracy and completeness of asset location data at source, and is currently working with UK Power Networks to improve data confidence using high quality PAS128 surveys. Neil works as a Technical Advisor to the Geospatial Commission on the high profile NUAR project.
Paul Nichols
Over 30 year experience in the Utility industry working on Electric, Gas and Water projects as well as Multi Utility projects, Paul has extensive experience of the capture of utility data and a keen advocate of PAS128. Paul is currently working on HS2 Early works where he and the survey team have used Photogrammetry to help capture, update and maintain 3D models of key parts of the Euston Area and Old Oak Common Acton, where essential diversion are taking place, in some of the most congested areas of London for utilities.
