Equipment Utilised – Vermeer D24x40, Vermeer D100, MR500 Recycler
Description – A very challenging project due to the ground conditions, all skills and knowledge combined to get the pipe in the ground. First attempt was with our Vermeer D24x40 however due to the ground consisting of boulders this wasn’t achievable to get across the River.
We mobilised our Vermeer D100 with the power of this drill nothing is impossible.
The installation consisted of a single 125mm sleeve but there was no other option but to HDD under the River Enrick.
The ground was extremely challenging, a 12m steel sleeve had to be installed to get us started.
The D100 powered through to achieve a depth of 11m length 135m
