Community spirit shine at Joseph Gallagher
Four teams from the business led by CEO, Steve Harvey, successfully completed the gruelling 100km Trailwalker challenge, taking on the iconic South Downs Way route from Queen Elizabeth Country Park to Brighton Racecourse.
The achievement marks a significant milestone, not only for the participants who demonstrated exceptional resilience, teamwork and
determination, but also for the wider fundraising effort that accompanied the challenge.
Thanks to the generous support of sponsors Denholm Industrial Services, Berryrange Ltd, Herrenknecht AG, and EDD Ltd, the teams raised more than £9,000 for the Gurkha Welfare Charity.
The event holds particular significance for the organisation, which is proud to employ many talented Nepalese colleagues across its operations.
Participation in Trailwalker provided an opportunity to recognise the invaluable contribution of the Nepalese community while supporting a charity dedicated to improving the lives of Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal.
