Why be an exhibitor?
See what past exhibitors had to say, in the tickertape, scrolling above.
You will meet senior level people from the Internal Drainage Boards, member flood officers and engineers
from the Association of SuDS Authorities, relevant people from the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, engineering firms, contractors, developers, planners, estate managers, facility managers and many others.
FLOODEX attracts a concentrated audience of high level decision makers and influencers, many of whom you won’t get to talk to anywhere else.
If the lockdowns and recent pandemic issues have proven anything, it is that you need to meet people face to face, to generate new business, network, exchange ideas and take advantage of serendipitous encounters.
Electronic communication has its place, but will never replace human contact to generate trust, genuine feedback, affiliation and shared emotions. As an article in The Economist put it “you can’t Amazon a trade event”.
Co-located with the National Drainage Show
We’re also delighted to be able to announce that we’ll be co-located with the National Drainage Show, which was originally scheduled to be run in April, with the support of the National Association of Drainage Contractors and Drain Trader magazine.
“The co-location with the National Drainage Show is a perfect fit,” comments event director Jon Irwin, he adds, “For the construction and utilities sectors, drainage is critical infrastructure. Done well, it mitigates against flood risk, which is where there is a really good cross-over between the two events.”
There is tremendous interest from the construction and highways industry, in an event that specifically focusses on drains and drainage systems, rather than have it as a footnote in general construction events.
